By placing an order with Decor Chronicle, or by using our Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and agree to comply with them. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and customers of the Website.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Our products are offered for sale within India.

We make every effort to display our products — including their colours, finishes and dimensions — as accurately as possible. However, product images may appear slightly different in person due to lighting, photography, screen settings and resolution, and minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes. Product specifications and dimensions are provided on each product page, and customers are encouraged to review them before ordering.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST and shipping, unless stated otherwise. Prices, offers and promotions may change without prior notice. Once an order is successfully placed and confirmed, the price for that order remains unchanged. Prices and offers may also vary across our Website and third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon and Pepperfry) due to platform fees and channel-specific promotions.

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation on your registered contact details. All orders are subject to acceptance, product availability and order verification. We reserve the right to accept, decline or cancel any order — including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing or listing errors, or stock unavailability. Where an order is cancelled by us, any amount paid will be refunded.

We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking, wallets, EMI, and Cash on Delivery (COD), subject to serviceability and eligibility. All online payments are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. We do not store your card or banking details.

We offer free Pan-India delivery. Dispatch and delivery timelines, free-shipping terms, tracking and delivery-related conditions are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery at your registered address.

Most lighting fixtures connect to your existing wiring; table and floor lamps are plug-in products. We strongly recommend that installation be carried out by a qualified, licensed electrician for safety and correct setup. You are responsible for ensuring the product's compatibility with your electrical system and installation conditions. Damage caused by improper or incorrect installation — regardless of who performs it — is not covered under warranty. Always switch off the power supply before installation or maintenance.

All products come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. The warranty does not cover physical or accidental damage, improper installation, voltage fluctuations, water or moisture damage, customer mishandling or misuse, unauthorised modifications or repairs, or normal wear and tear. Returns and issue reporting are accepted within the timeframes set out in our Return & Refund Policy — in summary, physical or transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, and a wrong, defective or incomplete product within 72 hours. We do not accept returns for change of mind, design or interior preference, size preference, or products no longer required. Issues reported after 72 hours are assessed under the Warranty Policy. For warranty claims raised after 72 hours, the customer bears one-way shipping to send the product to us, and we bear the return shipping after repair or replacement. Refunds are processed only after the returned product is received, inspected and approved, and are confirmed through email. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details.

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, it generally cannot be cancelled. Eligible refunds for cancelled orders are processed to the original payment method (or by bank transfer for COD orders) as per applicable policies.

All content on the Website — including the "Decor Chronicle" name, logo and device, product images, designs, graphics, text and page layout — is the property of Decor Chronicle and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Decor Chronicle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or Website. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by courier partners, incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer, improper installation, voltage fluctuations, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any product shall not exceed the amount paid for that product.

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, strikes, courier disruptions, pandemics, or government restrictions.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order, to use the Website lawfully, and not to engage in any activity that may harm, disrupt, or misuse the Website or our services.

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Website and placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

Decor Chronicle reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and related policies at any time without prior notice. The Terms in effect at the time of your order shall apply to that order. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
